Washington Signals Plans to Start Blocking All Oil Trade Between Venezuela and Cuba

July 7, 2019

On July 3, Washington added a Cuban business to its open blacklist for companies called out as third-party violators of the U.S. embargo on oil trade with Venezuela which began on January 28.

Of course, the U.S. aim in Cuba and Venezuela is still constitutional regime change with all-sided economic and political reform.

These policies have long been stipulated in U.S. law as the only course of action which could lead to the normalization of trade relations.

From day one of the Monroe Doctrine through today, the left and right wings of the U.S. capitalist class have tried with might and main to make the economic interests of all the countries of Latin America subservient to their own.

Cuba and Venezuela are branded legitimate targets because they chose and decided to charter their own paths.
